* Brown Entrance Coir Mat 90cm x 60cm Coir matting is the preferred choice for customers who appreciate a more traditional entrance mat. Obtained from coconut husks, Coir is a natural product that disagrees with the British weather and works best when either fully or partially protected.
Coir matting is the traditional and extremely effective barrier matting made from natural coconut fibres to give a very good level of dirt and moisture removal. Coir matting is suitable for indoor use or in a covered outdoor porch area that isn’t exposed to the elements.

Available up to 200cm wide, our Coir has a 17mm thickness for more effective scraping properties. Priced per running metre with a maximum length of 1200cm, it is readily available to protect the entrance areas of homes and offices from unwanted debris and soiling. Coir matting as well as being very hardwearing is very easy to maintain and keep clean by simply vacuuming or lifting the mat and shaking the trapped dirt off.

*All of our coir products have a PVC backing*

Please note as this product is made using natural fibres some colour variation can occur – if you are unsure, please contact us for a sample.

Products will be cut to our normal manufacturing tolerances.

Cotton Door Mat (Drit Trapper) - Care & Instructions Guide

    5 Year Manufacturer Guarantee

All of our dirt trapper mats come with a 5 year manufacturers guarantee, this is a guarantee against manufacturing defects for a period of up to 5 years. Wear and tear is not covered under this guarantee and we cannot cover any products that have been altered from their original state e.g. if they have been cut down.

    MACHINE WASHABLE

We always suggest that you wash before use, use non bio liquid or power, do not bleach.

Machine or hand wash at 30oC or below.

Allow to dry naturally by airing on a washing line/clothes horse.

Do not add fabric conditioner as this reduces the absorbency of the cotton mat.

Check the filter on your washing machine before and after the first few washes to ensure that the drain is free from cotton lint. You may wish to place your entrance mat in a pillowcase to minimise any lint getting caught in your machines filters.

Large mats are heavy when wet and we recommend when washing in a domestic machine you check the load limit on your machine.

Mats should not be placed on a damp/wet floor, please ensure mats are placed in a dry area before use.

    Pre-Washing

All of our cotton mats come pre-washed, we supply them in this way to reduce any lint that comes from the cotton, although we always suggest that for maximum performance of your mat, it should be washed again before use

NOTE: We strongly advise you to check the filter on your machine after each wash. Grimefordmill Ltd take no responsibility for any damage that may occur to your washing machine during the washing of any of our mat products.

    HELP GUIDE Measuring your Table

    Best Practice

The best way to measure your table is to make a paper cut-out that is the same size. If your table has an unusual shape, this can then be sent to us to make sure we get the perfect fit for your protector!

Using a large sheet of paper (or smaller pieces stuck together), cover your table making sure that the whole flat area is covered.
Make sure your paper is flat – you can do this by placing items like plates or magazines on top of the paper. Smoothing out the paper will help to make sure that your table protector is the right size, and not a centimetre or two out. Draw around the edges of the table, making sure you don’t include any bevelled edges or other parts.

Double check your lines and cut the pattern out.
Once you’ve cut your pattern, place it back on your table to make sure it is the size you want. If there are any excesses, trim them off.
If you have extra leaves, remember to create a separate pattern just for them and draw a line on your main pattern indicating where the leaf will be placed: see the diagrams below for more information on leaves.
